Welcome to Geethanjali alumni page. This is an attempt to bring together all the Alumni of GCET, Hyderabad. The Geethanjali Alumni Association is a voluntary organization formed with the following aims and objectives.
Aims
- Increase the number of alumni who participate in the Geethanjali alumni lifelong community (both face-to-face and electronic).
- Develop student recognition of the Geethanjali alumni lifelong community by engaging them during their campus experience.
- Strengthen the presence of the Alumni Association within the College community.
- Build an educational culture that facilitates alumni lifelong learning.
Objectives
Geethanjali's thriving alumni communities provide a wide range of opportunities for socializing, networking and community service, and contribute significantly to the rich alumni experience that defines Geethanjali.
- To interact with students, staff, faculty and with one another.
- To strengthen the professional networking among alumni.
- To maintain a database of Geethanjali Alumni, enabling them to reconnect with their friends.
- To provide a forum for discussion of common-interest issues.
- To provide a means for career networking and mentoring to both Geethanjali alumni and to current students who need guidance.
Geethanjali organized its 9th Alumni Meet on 25th December 2021. The dates of this Meet were declared in the month of October itself and the news spread far and wide. Many of the alumni played active role in contacting their batch mates and others. The Meet was attended by 163 alumni of batches that graduated in year 2009 (First Graduating Batch) to 2021. There was special enthusiasm in all the batches. It was a great pleasure to know about their accomplishments in professional lives. Most of them were visiting their Alma Mater for the first time since their graduation, and naturally were thrilled to meet each other. Few alumni attended the Meet with their spouses.
The Principal, Dr. S.Udaya Kumar, Secretary, G.R.Ravinder Reddy, welcomed the Alumni and Faculty. The principal said that Alumni are the brand ambassadors of the Institution and a very vibrant relationship must be established and nurtured. Secretary stressed on the importance of Alumni visiting the institute to hold students in various aspects. Alumni Association Members body was created during the meet. Geethanjali organized its 8th Alumni Meet on 25th December 2019. The dates of this Meet were declared in the month of October itself and the news spread far and wide. Many of the alumni played active role in contacting their batch mates and others. The Meet was attended by 55 alumni of batches that graduated in year 2009 (First Graduating Batch) to 2019. There was special enthusiasm in all the batches. It was a great pleasure to know about their accomplishments in professional lives. Most of them were visiting their Alma Mater for the first time since their graduation, and naturally were thrilled to meet each other. Few alumni attended the Meet with their spouses.

In the before Dinner session, the HODs of each department presented the recent progress and activities. After the discussion on the future developments ensued and alumni came up with many suggestions regarding the syllabus of courses, laboratory development etc. They also offered their services in the growth of Department.
Many of the Alumni expressed their willingness to help Geethanjali in training, placement, development of modern laboratories, and delivery of expert lectures in emerging areas of technology
A feedback was also collected from alumni regarding the organizational aspects of the Meet and their suggestions for improvement in professional training at Geethanjali. The Alumni Meet closed at a very emotional note. However, everyone appreciated the efforts for organizing the Meet. Everyone departed with the resolve to visit again and spread the message amongst all who could not visit this time.
