At Geethanjali college of Pharmacy, we truly believe in building the nation’s economy by improving health standards, for which we aim at producing competent clinical Pharmcists who can combat the economic crisis faced in health care sector. A Competent clinical Pharmcist can contribute in regulating the health budget with cost effectiveness and there by produces a cost utility outcome.
To be on par with the world class standards, and to provide integrated clinical Pharmacy services, the gazette of India in 2008 approved the 6 year Doctor of Pharmacy course which consists of 5 year study and 1 year internship in a 300 bedded multi specialty hospital.
Primary objective behind the approval of PharmD course is to enhance the quality of the health care team by employing a competent health care professional with and aptitude in clinical Pharmacy; that can review a prescription in designing an effective treatment regimen, and provide right treatment to the right patient. Along with patient counseling, a Clinical Pharmcist acts as a first point of contact to a patient. At Geethanjali college of Pharmacy, we train the budding clinical Pharmcists not only to be efficient health care professionals, but also impart an introspective streak in the students where they develop an insight to empathize with the diseased. We strive towards perfection and seed the development of socio-scientific quotient in a clinical Pharmcist.

We leave no stone unturned to nourish our students in providing health care services which is evident through our regular IPSF (International Pharmceutical Student Federation) health campaigns, which we conduct to enhance the quality of health in our locality and neighborhood.
