Staff Welfare Measures

The welfare of teaching and non-teaching staff offered by the institute develops an excellent work culture with the institute for academic and personal growth.

The following are the institution's welfare measures for teaching and non-teaching staff

• Professional work atmosphere that promotes ethical behavior, competitive spirit, research-orientation, committed work culture, safety and welcoming attitude.
• Leaves such as casual leaves, half-pay leaves, special leaves, compensatory casual leaves, study leaves and earned leaves.
• Infrastructure, facilities, and other tools are available to support research.
• For engaging in scientific activities outside the college, leave and financial assistance are offered.
• For their honors, acknowledgment, or professional accomplishments, faculty earn recognition and benefits.
• Transportation facility available for teaching faculty and non-teaching staff.
• Maternity leave for female faculty members.

*ESI is only available to non-teaching staff with a salary of less than Rs. 20000 per year

The institute makes the following efforts to further the professional development of its teaching personnel.

• Invites faculty to participate in lectures, workshops, conferences, and other faculty development programs.
• Allows faculty to write and present research papers at national and international conferences.
• Encourages faculty to pursue PhD, and major/minor research ventures for external funding.
• Arranges faculty development programmes to enhance teaching abilities.
• Encourage employees to join professional societies such as IPS, IPA, and APTI, among others.
